Jet lag is no joke
I just got back from a fantastic trip to England. A dream of a trip. An incredible trip.
And I'm exhausted.
So very exhausted.
I've been back for two days, and I still feel like I'm only partially here. I'm still waking up at 2 or 3 in the morning as if it's time to get up. I'm good for a few hours at work, and then I hit a wall like no other wall.
I should be writing. I have deadlines, some of them very tight ones. But all I want to do is sleep. For a long time and whenever I feel like it.
I miss England a lot already. Jet lag only makes that feeling worse.
Soon both will pass. Jet lag can leave, that's fine. But England?
England will be forever.
And maybe jet lag is worth that.
